This release makes the AI-readiness (GEO) score harder to max out.

Looking across every post the analyzer has scored in our weekly writing contest, 57% of them were hitting a perfect 100 on GEO. A score that most people max stops being useful — it can no longer tell a good post from an excellent one.

The same checks remain, with the same names. The top band on each is now harder to reach:

• Your opening paragraph has to be tighter to earn full marks.
• Question-style headings: two for full marks, where one used to be enough.
• Definitions: three, where two used to be enough.
• Numbers with a source: five figures, where three used to be enough.

There is also one new check, for personal and creative posts: Concrete detail. A story an AI can quote names things — people, places, dates, numbers. Posts that stay general score lower than posts that are specific.

Expect your GEO score to drop. The bar moved up; your writing did not get worse. A perfect 100 is still reachable, it just has to be earned.

Also fixed: a trailing space in your title or preview description no longer costs you points. The analyzer was measuring the raw length, so one invisible character could drop a 60-character title into the next band down and cost three points.

No new permissions, no new data collection, and no change to what the extension sends over the network.

Bug-fix release. Everything here is in the post analyzer, from bug reports by a HivePulse user who noticed the same article scoring differently depending on which Hive editor wrote it.

• Links written as HTML are now counted. PeakD's editor emits <a href="..."> where Ecency emits markdown. Only the markdown form was being read, so an identical post could lose all of its link points for nothing but the editor it was typed in.

• Subheadings written as HTML are now counted, in every check that looks at headings — document structure, keyword placement, and the AI-extractability checks. The same post now scores the same in either editor.

• An image wrapped in a link is no longer counted as a citation. The common gallery pattern of linking a photo to its full-size version was being scored as if it were a source reference.

• Fixed a performance problem where a post containing certain unusual HTML could make the analyzer slow to a crawl while you typed. It now handles the same content instantly.

No new permissions, no new data collection, and no change to what the extension sends over the network.

This is a bug-fix release. All of it is in the post analyzer, from a bug report by a HivePulse user who published the same post twice — once from PeakD's editor, once from Ecency's — and found they scored differently.

• Images written as HTML tags no longer count as text. A <img src="..." alt="..."> tag was surviving the cleaning step as about a dozen words, one of them a 60-character URL. That inflated the word count and dragged down the reading-ease score, so the same post scored differently depending only on which editor wrote it. Both image styles now score identically.

• Bare web addresses are no longer scored as words.

• Alt text is now checked on HTML images too, not only on markdown ones.

• The word-count bar's scale is accurate. The 0 / 300 / 1k / 2.5k labels were evenly spaced rather than placed at the points they mark, so a 1,000-word draft looked like roughly 800.

• The word count shows the exact number instead of rounding to "1.0k".

No new permissions and no new data collection.
