GreenDirect nudges your everyday browsing toward greener alternatives — Ecosia instead of Google, thredUp instead of Shein, and more — with a one-click toggle in a clean sidebar. 100% local: no accounts, no tracking, nothing collected.

When a redirect is on, GreenDirect gives you a friendly heads-up (complete with a little sprouting-leaf animation) and a few seconds to decide: jump to the greener site now, or stay put. Search terms carry over automatically, so a Google search continues right where you left off on Ecosia — nothing retyped, nothing lost.

Not ready to switch everything? A small, dismissible banner lets you know when a greener option exists for a site you haven't decided on — no pressure, opt in whenever you like. Toggle redirects one by one, or use Enable All / Disable All to change your whole browsing habits in a click.

Every check happens locally in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere — just a lighter footprint on the sites you already visit, at your own pace.
