A little weather. A quieter window.

Glassweather brings a transparent animated atmosphere to the webpage you are reading. Choose falling rain, drifting snow or gently glowing fireflies. Adjust the presence and pace, choose cool or warm light, and keep the centre of the page quieter when you want more space around the text.

The toolbar popup gives you a live window preview before applying the effect. A single button starts the atmosphere on the current page. Change the settings and press Update this page to apply them. Pause holds the current picture; Remove clears the layer.

Features:
- Three locally rendered atmospheres: Rain, Snow and Fireflies.
- Adjustable presence and pace, plus cool and warm light.
- Optional centre attenuation to reduce particles across the middle of the page.
- A timer for 15, 30 or 60 minutes, or leave it running until removed.
- Click-through decoration: links, forms and scrolling remain available.
- Pauses in inactive tabs and hides during webpage fullscreen.
- Follows the system's reduced-motion preference by hiding page weather.
- Stores your last applied preferences locally.

Apply starts a fresh timer. The timer measures elapsed clock time, including time spent paused or in another tab. Reloading or navigating to another document ends that page's weather; it does not automatically restart. Protected browser pages and sites that Firefox restricts cannot be decorated.

Glassweather is visual atmosphere, not a real weather forecast. It does not request location, play audio, connect to weather services, or send data to a server. All drawing code and assets are included in the addon.
