We understand your frustration! Sorry for that! The Ghostery tracker library updates automatically every 24h but the date does not change in the UI, except you update it manually. The support team communicated this in our email conversations.
We are funneling all our efforts towards an extensively reworked version of Ghostery, adapting to upcoming changes imposed upon browser extensions developers by major industry players.

- Valutata 4 su 5di Utente Firefox 19021234, 4 giorni faFunktioniert weitestgehend gut. Nur "alles ablehnen" (Never Consent) verusacht auf manchen Seiten Probleme. Auch hatte ich Probleme mit Amazon Pay wenn Ghostery aktiv war. Dann muß man es eben temporär deaktivieren.

- Valutata 5 su 5di Voltrin, 7 giorni faWent through 3 Adblockers (Adblock, Ublock, Adblocker for Youtube) so far, but all gets detected eventually... i still use Ublock, while using Ghostery to handle Youtube Ads. Ghostery has seemed to avoid detection longer than Ublock had. i think this is due to a couple of ads being able to slip through on rare occasions, but at least the ads were the least intrusive kind. For those who haven't seen a youtube ad since forever, they look similar to video thumbnails and the kind of content you watch now, so watch out for that
I personally prefer Ghostery due to how informative and casual-user friendly it is. if it has been detected by Youtube, it gives a notification with steps to bypass it; while also providing information about the ad situation - Valutata 5 su 5di Alveus FFX, 7 giorni faSo far I haven't seen a Youtube ad for a very long time, I hear people being pissed about those ads, don't know what they're talking about. However, I disabled it on Spotify because I have a free account and Spotity pauses forever if the ads are not shown.

Apesar disso, to dando 5 estrelas porque por muito tempo funcionou perfeitamente.

- Valutata 1 su 5di SweatTechnique, 11 giorni faIch weiß nicht was ich falsch mache, aber stattdessen, das es alle Cookies deaktiviert akzeptiert Ghostery alle Cookies und sorgt somit für alles andere als für ein "datenschutzorientieres" Surfen. Darum habe ich es wieder deinstalliert und mach die Einstellungen eben wieder manuell aber sicher so wie ich sie haben will.
