STiNE (the student network of the University of Hamburg) has a calendar export feature. You can download your events in a compiled .ics file. Due to very interesting design choices made by the developers of STiNE, the exported file is encoded in UTF-16LE, which is an encoding that many calendar applications are not equipped to handle. The add-on interrupts the download on the STiNE website and converts the file to UTF-8.
