Firecrawl Frontend is a manual GUI for Firecrawl. Paste or capture a URL to scrape it, map a domain, or run and monitor a crawl, all from your browser. It works with any endpoint you configure, including the official Firecrawl API, but it is built for self-hosted instances.
It collects no data, includes no telemetry, and contacts no third party. It talks only to the Firecrawl endpoint you set.
Set your endpoint (and optional API key) once, then:
By default, results save through your browser's downloads, so the extension works on its own with nothing else to install. If you want output written straight to a directory you choose, or handed to the Firecrawl CLI, you can install a small native messaging host: a separate helper program the extension talks to. It is opt-in and never needed for normal use.
Firecrawl Frontend does not include Firecrawl itself; you point it at a running instance you control or the official API.

Set your endpoint (and optional API key) once, then:
- Scrape the page you're on with one click, or paste any URL.
- Map a domain to discover its URLs, and optionally start a crawl from them.
- Launch a crawl and watch its status until it completes.
- Pick an output format (Markdown, HTML, raw HTML, links, and more) and toggle the same options you'd use on the CLI: main-content-only, tag include/exclude, pretty-printed output, and others.
- Save a page as a PDF when a site blocks scraping.
- Optionally write a debug log when a scrape, map, or crawl fails unexpectedly.
