Crewfather Clipper: save supplier products from any webpage

Stop retyping supplier catalogs. Browse your supplier's website the way you already do, and when you find a product you buy, clip it straight into Crewfather with its price, SKU, and a link back to the page.

How it works

1. Sign in to Crewfather in your browser as usual. The Clipper uses your existing session, so there is no separate login and no password to enter in the extension.
2. Open a product page on any supplier's website and click the Clipper icon.
3. Click "Extract product from this page." AI reads the page and fills in the product name, SKU, category, unit, price, and description for you.
4. Review the fields, adjust anything, and save. Done.

What it does for you

• Recognizes your suppliers: on a site you already buy from, the right supplier is preselected. On a new site, the Clipper offers to create the supplier, prefilled from the page.
• No duplicates: reopen the popup on a page you clipped before and it offers to update the existing product instead of creating a copy.
• Price history built in: every clip records a dated price in Crewfather, so your cost history builds itself as prices change.
• Always a way back: the product page URL is saved with the product, so anyone on your team can jump to the source listing later.

Privacy, in one paragraph

The Clipper reads a page only when you click the icon on it. It has no access to your browsing history and never runs in the background on the sites you visit. When you choose Extract, that one page's content is sent to Crewfather's servers to fill in the product fields; nothing is stored until you press Save, and then only the fields you approved, in your own workspace.
