Branch Receipt adds a single right-click command to links: Open as a branch. The new tab remembers the parent tab and a small local route record. The popup shows the current detour and recent open or closed routes. Return to parent keeps the child open; Close this branch closes it and returns to the parent when available. Closing a branch tab normally also returns to its parent. Route records contain the link destination, parent and child tab identifiers, and local timestamps; the extension keeps at most 80 records. It does not read page bodies, follow links automatically, or request access to all websites. Only HTTP and HTTPS links are accepted.
