BookGlints includes Native Local AI, which runs directly in Firefox and requires no API key. Review analysis stays in your browser.

Native Local mode performs semantic analysis locally in Firefox and requires no external AI account or API key.

For advanced users, BookGlints also supports optional External AI using your own Gemini, Groq, OpenRouter, or OpenAI API key. Access to those providers is requested only if you choose to use them.

BookGlints has no user account requirement and does not track your browsing history.
