Informativa sulla privacy per ArchiveApp: Save articles
ArchiveApp: Save articles di Willem
Account and login
When you log in, the extension sends your email address and password to this ArchiveApp server. The password is used for authentication and is not stored by the extension. Firefox extension storage keeps the returned access token until you log out.
02
Pages you save
ArchiveApp uploads a page only when you use Save or its keyboard shortcut. The upload includes the URL, title, page metadata, rendered article content, and referenced images. Scripts, event handlers, cookies, authorization headers, browser local storage, and form values are removed before upload.
A saved page can still contain personal or confidential text that was visible to you, including content from a website where you were signed in.
03
Library actions and diagnostics
The service stores actions such as read status, favorites, folders, sharing, and deletion. A failed-page diagnostic is sent to the administrator only after you confirm that action. Diagnostics can contain the rendered page.
04
Sharing and third parties
Saved articles are private unless you create a public share link. Anyone with that link can view the shared copy until you revoke it or remove the item. Playing embedded media or opening the original article contacts the original website under its own privacy practices.
05
Retention and your choices
You can revoke share links, delete saved items, and log out to remove the local access token. This beta contains no advertising or analytics SDK and does not sell personal information. Backups may retain deleted information for a limited operational period.
06
Security and contact
The public beta extension communicates only with its fixed HTTPS ArchiveApp server. For privacy questions or account access, correction, or deletion requests, email support@depositado.com.
