AnswerRail adds a lightweight navigation rail to ChatGPT conversations on chatgpt.com.

Each assistant response that is currently rendered on the page receives a numbered entry in a compact rail on the right side of the screen. Click a number to jump directly to that answer. The rail can also be expanded to show a short preview of the beginning of each response.

AnswerRail automatically highlights the answer near the current viewport and updates the navigation list when ChatGPT renders new responses.

Version 1.0.0 intentionally indexes only assistant responses that are currently rendered by ChatGPT. In very long conversations, older responses that ChatGPT has not yet loaded into the page will appear in AnswerRail only after ChatGPT renders them.

Privacy and data handling:
- No telemetry or analytics.
- No external network requests.
- No ChatGPT API access.
- No conversation content is uploaded or transmitted.
- No conversation content is stored by the extension.
- No account credentials, cookies, browsing history, or personal data are collected.

AnswerRail runs entirely inside the browser and only on https://chatgpt.com/.
It is an independent, unofficial extension and is not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenAI.
