📋 Select, press a key, copy — the way the web is supposed to work

Some pages turn copying off: the text you selected will not copy, what you paste comes with a copyright notice stapled to it, the right-click menu never appears, or the text will not even select. AllowCopy gives you back the copying your browser already had. Select, press, copy — nothing more to it.

🛠 How to Use

1. Select the text you want on the page
2. Press the shortcut (Alt+C by default)
3. It is on your clipboard; you can also right-click the selection and choose "Copy selected text"

The shortcut can be changed to whatever suits you on your browser's extension shortcuts page.

📏 How Much You Can Copy

One selection at a time, and always one you made by hand. Everyday quotes, snippets and contact details are free; taking a long passage whole is a Pro feature. There is no copy-page, no copy-all, no automatic pagination and no export — to keep a whole article, use your browser's "Save Page As".

🔒 Privacy
The text you select goes from the page straight to your clipboard on your device. Nothing is stored, nothing is uploaded. The extension asks for no site permissions by default — until you invoke it yourself, it cannot touch any page. The on-page copy button is the one exception, and it asks you the moment you turn it on. Selections inside input boxes are never handled, so passwords and payment details are never read.
