About this extension
Quick Highlighter lets you highlight selected text on any page with a single click. It uses only minimal permissions (activeTab and storage) and injects a safe content script on demand; no inline scripts, no remote code, and no unsafe innerHTML usage.

This add-on provides a simple popup: pick a highlight color, then press "Highlight Selection" to wrap the current selection in a non-invasive span. Use the "Remove Highlights" button to remove highlights created by this add-on. Options allow you to set a default highlight color which is stored via browser.storage.sync. The extension was built to follow AMO rules: it requests the least privileges necessary, uses external scripts only, sets a strict Content Security Policy, and performs page modifications using safe DOM APIs.
