Just started using this. Seems good so far, but time will tell. I'm writing this to make people aware of a potential issue, though. When I copy/pasted the generated token, it had a space at the beginning. This caused the extension to not work. Users: double-check your pasted token. Developer: perhaps you can trim the token input to remove surrounding spaces.

This extension uses outdated authentication. If you use it, GitHub will spam your email every 3 days as long as the application queries their backend:

Please use the Authorization HTTP header instead, as using the `access_token` query parameter is deprecated and will be removed July 1st, 2020.

The extension's webpage seems dead as well. I guess it is no longer maintained.

Good, but if there is 0 notifications, please don't show that red 0 count, only if > 0.

Don't know why I cannot get this to work. I expected to have a number aside the icon. But even when my inbox has more than 1 notifications, the icon is a still plain icon.

I have already create the token and save to the extension.

Hi!, the API from GitHub allow get notifications every 60 seconds. So when configuring first time the extension, you should wait 60 seconds to see the number of notifications in the icon plugin.
