wot Wužiwar Firefox 13042315, 8 jierren lynGood job! Does exactly what I need it to do, thanks! ... Question. I can't seem to select the greyed out box for 'File renaming' section. Why is this? ... Also, will this addon be valid and working in the next Firefox, ie, 'not legacy'... Looking foreword to your response. :)
Edit: Thanks for your quick response! ... Actually, there is no 'legacy' warning on this addon, sorry. I was just getting paranoid that some addons might not be properly marked as legacy when in fact they might end up being... I don't want to start relying on addons only to have to delete them later when Firefox forces me to. So I'm keeping it! :)
Too bad about the file renaming/folder saving issue, however, Firefox will save to whatever you set it to, (Even if you set Firefox to always ask!) and auto increment is working, so it's workable... Really surprised at the lack of availability of these types of addons for Firefox as this is an extremely useful tool.

je so 8 jierren lyn napisałThe file renaming and subfolder features are disabled for now because the new firefox does not support them (they cannot be programmed to work). What do you mean, not legacy? The current update (6.0.0) is not a legacy addon and should not be marked as legacy in your firefox.

je so ien jier lyn napisałAs mentioned many times before (I should add this to the FAQ part), it depends on the website, this observation is not global. Many servers provide filename extensions one way or another, but e.g. twitter doesn't in any way (because websites don't need to) and my addon can't just take a wild guess as it. There will be an extension if the extension is communicated by the server as per standards. What a blown-out-of-proportion thing to give a permanent 1 star for anyway, as if that's all there is to it and as if it's any addon's fault a server decides not to expose extensions. Stupid "reviews" - more like baseless whines - like this are why I'm done developing for the public anyway.- Z 5 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Wužiwar Firefox 18347152, 2 jierren lyn

je so ien jier lyn napisałSorry, they probably detect hotlinking (i.e. direct downloading) specifically to stop addons like this. Thank you for giving a reasonable rating to a functioning product, unlike all the petulant reviewers that go straight to 1 star for the silliest reasons as if it's a completely defective piece of junk. - Z 5 z 5 pohódnoćenywot diego.ar, 2 jierren lyn

je so 2 jierren lyn napisałSome websites do things to stop addons like this from working, and I can't change that. But the addon definitely works on sites that don't take such countermeasures. I use it myself in the latest firefox, as do many other happy reviewers. Don't use reviews for misplaced and false bug reports, they belong in an email with proper information like which site you're trying to use it on. Simply writing "doesn't work" is an utter waste of everyone's time and blatantly wrong.- Z 1 z 5 pohódnoćenywot ragernothingworks, 2 jierren lynIt just does not work, you can click all you like, it won't download on Firefox.

je so 2 jierren lyn napisałSorry but I'm using firefox and this addon myself, and it definitely works, as it does for other people too. There are some sites that do things that prevent addons like this from working (e.g. clickable overlays on images), you may be trying to use it on such a site. Fair enough it doesn't work then but that's no basis to say this addon never works. Please use reviews only for serious, well prepared review content. - Z 5 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Wužiwar Firefox 17999994, 2 jierren lynamazing does exactly what it says the hover button works best for my use case!
