This app is a must for those requiring to grab all the images published in a site with a minimum effort and the best available resolution. I’ve been using it for some years and it has always worked perfectly. It’s advised to get the yearly update to have the app prepared for the new requirements of the different sites. At the same time the app support is superb and in case of any difficulty you can contact them and the answer will be quickly received with the proper assistance. I was having problems to get some images from a newspaper and support send me the way to do it adding a line in “Advanced Configuration”. And it worked smoothly. It’s advisable to read the manual as there are some tricks to get the best result. Fully satisfied!

The author of this software fails to clearly state that the program which costs $40 a year, will no longer function without paying to keep it updated. I have reported this deceptive sales practice to both the Firefox and Chrome stores.

Bulk Image Down loader is an Excellent app after I realized, "IT IS A WINDOWS APPLICATION AND IT HAS TO BE INSTALLED S-E-P-A-R-A-T-E-L-Y" it is a must, it has to be be installed separately) with Fire Fox (or Chrome). I can Download full sized images from almost any web gallery. Supports every image hosts I encountered. Unfairly, I've seen 1 star ratings ratings due to improper installation by the user. Properly installed, easily goes up 5 stars. Deserves TEN stars.

Can't understand why so many people have rated BID so low! I've been a user for 10 years or more and it has proven to be worth every penny it's cost. Guess everybody thinks they have a right to proprietary material without paying for the endless hours of writing code and debugging, etc... Hey folks who rated this as 1 or 2: get a life.

Es funktioniert - das ist die Hauptsache. Es gibt relativ oft Updates, und manchmal muss ich meinen Schlüssel neu eingeben - da kann lästig sein, ist aber nicht weiter schlimm, weil das Produkt an sich stabil und zuverlässig ist.

Been using this app for more than a decade, and it's the best money I've ever spent on a program.
It says all over the page this is an add-on for the app. There's even a trial version of the app if you need to see what it can do.
Don't bitch because you can't read. Just spend the money, weiners. It's worth every penny.

It´s a not well working tool, and it´dosen´t works on Tumblr or Deviantart (you becomes an error 403 until your download is finished): These are Stations for Solo-Downloads for Solo-People. Downloads (on flickr for example) often breaks without reason. Downloads on Pinterest often result in only a quarter of the quantity actually started. A Software that fails on the biggest Image- Platforms is not worth its name.

It's worth it if you compulsively save galleries like I do. Some sites are still impossible, but the vast majority are opened with this add-on. The speed with which it downloads is incredible. The organization it brings is also really nice. The lame thing is you have to keep buying it, like frikkin Photoshop. Really stupid and lame IMO. Good program/add-on, greedy owner. BTW if stuff goes wrong with it, they have good customer service. Get what you pay for I suppose... grumble.

Great product, regular updates, good service! But don't forget to buy the main product - this is just an extension to access it.

Works pretty well. I imagine a lot of the reviews complain about there being a purchase price, but for the cost, it does what I want it to and more. Definitely helped archive photos from my older social media sites.

I've been using BID for about 7 years and cannot fault it. Frequent updates, great support, works seamlessly.

The add-on works well with the installed application.
The application (not the add-0n) has a few shortcomings but I still paid for it and paid to renew.

Having all my freebie downloaders fail at forum galleries, I gave in and downloaded the BID program and the Firefox add-on. I didn't like the idea of external software but it turns out to be seemless. The free trial version has limits, only 2 items/pages queued at a time, 100 images max per gallery, but that's fine for my needs. The nagging is only a banner at the top of the window, come on snowflakes. I got version 5.58, turned on the add-on, clicked the BID button when on a gallery page, and it runs the BID programs to download or queue. The options are vast, and it has performed perfectly every time, automatically creating folders for different galleries & numbering images. Hard to use, nope... click, make a cup of tea, return to completed downloads, it really is that good.

PS. Been using it for a while now, nagging to register (pay) is getting very in your face intrusive, BUT still excelent software.
