    • Removes the low-frequency volume, comma-pause, and sentence-pause settings. Reading now uses the system voice volume and natural punctuation pauses.
    • Replaces the sleep-timer field with presets for 5, 10, 15, 30, and 60 minutes, plus a custom value from 1 to 1440 minutes and an option to turn the timer off.
    • Reworks the reading controls: Start Reading is shown when ready, Pause and Stop while reading, and Resume and Stop while paused.
    • Adds reading statistics for total characters, estimated total duration, read percentage, and remaining reading time.
    • Adds Media Session support for improved play, pause, resume, and stop control from wired and Bluetooth headsets.
    • Adds browser update checking. When a newer version is detected, the localized update notice appears in the reading-page logo.
    • Keeps article handling session-scoped, does not upload article content, does not use a remote TTS service, and adds no website access permission.
