TokenFootPrint helps users understand the approximate token usage and energy impact of their AI chatbot sessions.

The extension works locally on supported chatbot websites such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Mistral. It detects the provider and model, estimates prompt and response tokens from visible text, and displays an indicative energy estimate. Users can also view local usage history, filter it by period or model, choose an energy calculation method, switch between light and dark mode, and customize the extension language, including by importing their own translation file.

All settings and history are stored locally in the browser extension storage.
