Quoyle Autor: faveat

Quoyle captures quotations from anywhere on the web and builds a portable, searchable bibliography of everything you've read; always private, always available.
Select any text, right-click, and choose Quoyle this! — the extension records the quote alongside its full source: page URL, title, author, publication, date, and the surrounding paragraph for context. Everything is captured automatically. Everything is editable.
Your library, your device. Quoyle stores nothing remotely. There is no account, no server, no sync, and no network connection of any kind. Your quotes live in your browser's local storage and nowhere else.
Export and import freely. Your entire library exports as a standard JSON file you can read, script, back up, or transfer to any device. The format is shared with the Quoyle Android app — exports move between browser and phone without conversion.
Powerful search. Substring and accent-aware search covers every field: quote text, author, publication, URL, notes, and tags. Searching "ehic" finds "vehicle." Searching "resume" finds "résumé."
Full editing. Every captured field is editable — fix an author name, correct a URL, add a personal note, assign color-coded tags. Tag colors are preserved across export and import.
Print. Generate a printable page of calling cards or a compact list, scoped to your full library, favorites only, or current search results.
Open keyboard shortcut. Press Alt+Shift+Z to open Quoyle from any tab. Reassign it in about:addons → Manage Extension Shortcuts.
No analytics. No ads. No permissions beyond what capture requires.
