Privacy Policy - Linkbucket Firefox Extension

This extension lets you save the current tab's URL to your Linkbucket account. It collects only what is necessary to perform this function.

Data collected:
- The URL of the tab you choose to save, sent to Linkbucket's servers only when you explicitly click to save.
- Your API credentials (Access Key ID and Secret), stored locally in your browser for authentication. Our servers store only a cryptographic digest of your key.

Data not collected:
- No browsing history.
- No page content.
- No advertising or analytics data.
- No use of Firefox Sync for personal or sensitive data.

Permissions:
- "activeTab": reads the current tab's URL only when you initiate a save.
- "storage": stores your API credentials locally.

Storage and retention:
- API credentials remain in your browser until you remove them or uninstall the extension.
- Saved links reside in your Linkbucket account, governed by the Linkbucket Privacy Policy.

Security:
All communication is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.
