How it works

When you click Convert, the extension opens a new tab on BigConverter with your video URL already filled in. The conversion happens on the BigConverter site, which fetches the audio or video from YouTube's servers and delivers a download link.

The extension itself only reads the URL of the YouTube tab you're on, and only when you click. It does not read the page content, your history, cookies, or any other data.

Privacy

The extension declares "no data collection" in its manifest. No analytics. No telemetry. No third-party scripts. The complete source is reviewed by Mozilla before publishing.
