This extension is used to authenticate JobFindr with user-authorized source sessions.

Data accessed:

• Session cookies from supported source domains (for example, linkedin.com), only after explicit user action/consent.

Purpose of data use:

• Build an authentication cookie header and send it to JobFindr backend to verify and save the connection for the user’s account.

Data sharing:

• Data is sent only to JobFindr backend endpoints controlled by JobFindr.
• No sale of personal data.
• No advertising or third-party analytics/tracking SDKs in the extension.

Storage:

• The extension stores only minimal local state (for example, consent flag) in browser extension storage.
• Platform session cookies are not permanently stored by the extension itself.

User control:

• Users can revoke access by disconnecting the integration in JobFindr settings and/or uninstalling the extension.
• The extension acts only when the user initiates the authentication flow.

Security:

• Communication to backend uses HTTPS in production.
• Access is limited to declared host permissions in the manifest.
