This really should be a default feature in the Desktop browser, especially since this is how Search Engines are added in the Android version, but whatever.

This works quite well, once you work out the proper URL of the website's search box. It seems the way it works is to copy a sample search return URL (eg: for eBay Australia, https://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2334524.m570.l1313&_nkw=[EXAMPLE] ) and substitute [EXAMPLE] with the "%s" from the instructions

Must have, really useful. But for some reason I can't add Bing, the magnifying-glass with the PLUS sign "add Bing" option just wont appear. Haven't had issues with any other search engine though. I'm using Firefox ESR.
