F.B. Sponsored/Ad Post Blocker hides sponsored/ad posts, "Suggested for you" posts, and (optionally) posts from Pages/Groups you don't follow, from the FB news feed and right-hand sidebar. Detection works by reading text and accessibility labels already present in FB's own markup (e.g. the "Sponsored" label, or the "Open menu for X sponsored content" accessible name on a post's menu button) no network requests are made, nothing is collected or transmitted, and the only permission used (storage) is for saving your own toggle settings locally, viewable and changeable from the toolbar popup.
