Tabward troch markshomelab

Tabward, when activated, automatically brings new tabs into focus when they are opened. No more hunting for newly opened tabs that are buried under old ones. Most tab extensions lack the ability to toggle the new tab focus behavior on and off. With Tabward, a single click on its icon on the toolbar toggles the extension active (green) or inactive (gray).

HOW TO USE IT:
Install Tabward. It will be active immediately.
Pin it to your toolbar by right-clicking the Tabward icon in the extensions menu (the puzzle-piece button) and choosing "Pin to Toolbar."
Click the icon to turn it off (gray) or back on (green).

FIREFOX'S BUILT-IN SETTINGS:
Firefox has preferences that cover some of this behavior (browser.tabs.loadInBackground and related about:config entries), but they are split across several settings behind a warning page, and each one covers only one kind of link. Tabward handles every new tab through a single toggle, no configuration required.

PRIVACY:
Tabward collects no data of any kind. It does not track your browsing, read your tab contents, or communicate with any server. Everything runs entirely in your browser. The two permissions it requests, tabs and storage, are used only to detect new tabs and remember your on/off preference.
