Shut Up is designed with privacy in mind, and it doesn't collect any information which can be used to personally identify you. It doesn't phone home to any third-party servers, and does all its blocking locally.

Shut Up includes an allowlist feature, which lets you see comments on your favorite sites if you so choose. It encrypts and stores this allowlist on your device. It's never shared with anyone else.

Firefox collects basic, anonymous analytics when you use this extension, just like it does for any other extension you install through this website. Learn more about these analytics here.
