Lumpy troch Merlin

Lumpy is a playful little browsing sidekick that helps you understand what you’re reading and get answers fast—without leaving the page.

Once installed, you add your OpenRouter API key in the settings and optionally customize prompts (choose a model and write your own templates). Then, while you’re on any website, you can highlight a passage and trigger Lumpy with your keyboard shortcut to get a clear summary, explanation, or direct answer based on what you selected.

If you don’t have anything selected, Lumpy will ask you for input so you can still ask a question. For more privacy, you can enable “Secret Mode” prompts that run without showing an on-page UI. Overall, Lumpy is built to keep you in flow: it reduces tab switching, makes dense pages easier to digest, and lets you tailor how the assistant responds to match your workflow.
