Anyway, the most common complaint is they cant get it to stop auto filling. The solution: Goto Manage Extensions>choose icloud passwords>choose Preferences>uncheck In-Page Autofill.
Problem solved.
Want to use FF's own password autofill? Goto Manage Extensions>choose icloud passwords>choose Preferences>>uncheck Turn off Firefox Autofill
Dont want any autofill from either? Goto Manage Extensions>choose icloud passwords>choose Preferences>uncheck In-Page Autofill>check Turn off Firefox Autofill
Want to use both password managers? Goto Manage Extensions>choose icloud passwords>choose Preferences>check In-Page Autofill>uncheck Turn off Firefox Autofil
It's not that complicated, people. It's like dealing with children around here. Sheesh. It works. Firefoxes works. Roboform works. LastPass works. Just pick one or don't; I'm not your dad. - Wurdearring: 2 fan 5troch hokayplair, 2 dagen lynHonestly this is garbage. For over a year and several versions this Add-on has failed to integrate my iCloud passwords reliably, has broken various websites and Firefox functions, and does a jenky job wither verifications of any sort.
I would think Apple could do better, but I'm not surprised it can't. I've owned MacBook Pros for my last 4 laptops and Apple has lost any focus on the the core functionality. My 'Find My' used to be able to locate a lost phone within ~1 foot. Something must havre changed because I'm lucky if it can trigger an audio ping these days (on that it is batting approx 50% in my unscientific estimate).
So that turned into a bit of a rant, but I'm frustrated. I want my passwords to travel between Firefox and iCloud - this Add-on claims it handles this, yet many, many users report it doesn't work and in fact causes problems. A year of disgruntled reviews and several updates and yet it still doesn't work. Please be more like 'classic' Apple; I am not a fan of 'new' Apple. - Wurdearring: 3 fan 5troch Wendtles, 4 dagen lynI also received a message at first that the extension was "incompatible with Firefox" but then something made it work eventually. The extension is disabled each time I boot, and sends a verification code to my computer to enable. This experience is a bit strange given I'm already authenticated. I also had to enable a 4-digit pin to my computer to use iCloud Passwords, which seems less secure than a password and probably a dealbreaker for most. Aside from the setup and quirks, it otherwise works well and syncs immediately with my other Apple devices. I imagine the venn diagram of Firefox PC users and iPhone users overlapping is really small, so I appreciate that this even exists.

- Wurdearring: 3 fan 5troch chand123, 13 dagen lynWorks, but breaks some websites, so far the one I've noticed as most affected is Google Translate where every single keystroke spikes CPU usage to 100% according to 'about:performance'.
OS: macOS Sequoia 15.5
Firefox: 141.0
Without the addon Google Translate performs well. - Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch Aerius, 13 dagen lynFINALLY this works with Firefox for Windows! I was able to autofill passwords as well as verification codes. That was primarily what was keeping me on MS Edge (well, that and the actually functional sidebar), so thank you.
- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch smtips, 14 dagen lynI cannot find a way to turn off the incessant ask to autofill popup. There are certain sites I never want to save the password for. I could do it fine in Firefox passwords, just click Never save passwords for this site. Apple Passwords has no such option, I have spent an hour looking all over the web. I will not live with being asked to autofill my bank site password and having to make extra clicks to get rid of the popup offer when I never want to save it, it should be a one time thing, "don't ask again." How can apple overlook this? It's stupid.
- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch firefox normal user, 16 dagen lynIt is unable to even start, giving the message of "This addon is not compatible with Firefox", so why even use it when it's "not compatible with Firefox" when it's even uploaded to it's addon store.

- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch emDee, 21 dagen lynUnusable due to:
- Constantly having to reauthenticate with Apple Passwords by typing in verification code.
- Auto fill drop-down is not visible behind default FF one.
- Can't save or update passwords.
Apple and Mozilla need to work together and solve this. - Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch OldAndBusted, 22 dagen lyn

- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch CHEM1CAL, 23 dagen lynOnly on reddit.com this extension causes the page to freeze up every time I open a new page. This is only on the firefox extension and it breaks the experience enough that im probably going to be switching my password manager altogether
- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 18380363, 23 dagen lynFiguring out it works only under ShitOS (Windows 10 or later) did cost me an hour of troubleshooting (the extension window was just empty background). Add Linux/UNIX support.
- Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch Debashish D. Dev, 24 dagen lynThank you Apple and Firefox for bringing this extension back to life! iCloud Passwords hadn’t worked on Firefox for several versions, and I had to switch to Safari. Today I randomly gave it another try—and it works! So happy to be back. Firefox, home sweet home!

- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Leevi, ien moanne lynDisplays an error saying “macOS Sonoma (14) or later is required,” but I’m running Sequoia (15.5). A recent update seems to have broken this - it used to work flawlessly.
- Wurdearring: 4 fan 5troch jw, ien moanne lynHow about you give a toggle to do passive mode only fill the password when I click the extension icon?
The way it scan the DOM, end up with performance really horrible - Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 19152839, ien moanne lynDoesn't work on Windows despite description claiming it will work if iCloud for Windows is installed and Passwords is enabled. This is not true, it's just not supported at all.
