• Rewritten using the Pointer Events API (pointerdown / pointermove / pointerup) — a single API that covers mouse, touch, and stylus input universally.
• setPointerCapture() ensures the drag/resize gesture stays locked to the handle even if the pointer slides off the element mid-gesture — no more stuck drags.
