Warmth is a focus app for Mac, and this extension is its browser half. It tells the app which tab you're on and blocks the sites you chose during a focus session. It needs the Warmth app running, and nothing leaves your computer.

What it does:

1. Tells the Warmth app which tab you're on, so your timeline shows what you were actually doing.
2. Blocks the sites and feeds you chose to block during a focus session, and shows Warmth's own explanation page instead.

Privacy:

• The extension talks only to the Warmth app on your computer (localhost). There is no Warmth server involved.
• It does not read page content and adds no scripts to the pages you visit.
• Private windows send no page address, no page title, and no tab count.

Blocking lets go on its own:

Every block list expires after 10 seconds unless the Warmth app renews it. If Warmth quits or crashes, or you close it, blocking stops by itself. Password managers, sign-in pages, and checkout pages are never blocked.
