In the User-Agent Switcher, you should enable custom mode and write "{"www.google.com": "Mozilla/5.0 (iPad; CPU OS 10_15_5 (Ergänzendes Update) like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/605.1.15 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/12.1.1 Mobile/15E148 Safari/605.1.15"}". You may also specify any other Google domains (for example www.google.ru) and any other User-Agent strings where Google shows favicons

I have found the solution. Not the best but at least it works. In Firefox select Tools -> Web Developer -> Responsive Design Mode and then from the dropdown menu select any device model. I prefer iPad Pro (12.9 inch). Now you can see favicons!!!!! Another option is to switch to chrome and use https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/google-search-favicons/icmnmooidimjccialmobcnablaiicgob
