- This extension uses factual rating classifications sourced from mediabiasfactcheck.com (MBFC). The dataset used in this project was last updated on 2025-12-02.
- The data contains 9,934 news sources, of which 8,969 (excluding Media Bias/Fact Check itself) are currently active.
- This web extension transforms MBFCâs publicly available rating categories into numeric scales for display purposes. All displayed scores are custom numeric interpretations derived from MBFCâs publicly available rating categories.
