The short version — what we do and don't collect
We do not store your bookmarks. All bookmark data is saved locally in your browser only. It never touches our servers.
We do not store your PIN. Your PIN is kept on your device only. We have no way to see or recover it.
We do not store any browsing or usage data. We have no analytics, no tracking, and no telemetry inside the extension.
The only data we store is the email address associated with your license key — so we can verify your purchase and resend your key if needed.
We never sell, rent, or share your email address with any third party, advertiser, or data broker. Ever.
1. Who We Are
iBookmarkit ("we", "us", "our") is a browser extension for Chrome and Brave, developed and operated independently. Our website is ibookmarkit.com. If you have any questions about this policy, please visit our support page.

1. What Data We Collect
   License purchases
   When you purchase iBookmarkit Pro, your payment is processed securely by Stripe. We do not handle or store your credit card details — Stripe processes all payments. After a successful purchase, we store:

Your email address — to deliver your license key and to verify your purchase if you contact us for support.
A license key associated with your email address.
A Stripe session identifier — to confirm the transaction and prevent duplicate processing.
That is the complete list. Nothing else is stored on our servers from your purchase.

Support enquiries
If you contact us through the support form on our website, we collect the information you provide in that form — your name, email address, and the message you write. We use this only to respond to your enquiry. Support messages are not used for marketing.

Website visits
Our website may log standard web server access information such as your IP address and the pages you visit. This is handled by our hosting provider (SiteGround) as part of normal server operation and is not used to identify or track individual visitors.

1. What We Do NOT Collect
   To be completely clear about how the extension works:

We do not collect your bookmarks or saved URLs. Everything is stored locally in your browser's storage.
We do not collect your PIN. Your PIN never leaves your device.
We do not track which websites you visit.
We do not collect usage analytics from within the extension. There is no telemetry, crash reporting, or event tracking.
We do not collect your name at purchase — only your email address.
4. How We Use Your Email Address
Your email address is used solely for the following purposes:

To deliver your license key after purchase.
To resend your license key if you request it.

   We retain your email address and license information for as long as your license is active and for a reasonable period afterward in case you need support. If you would like your data deleted, please visit our support page and send us a message and we will remove it from our records.

   iBookmarkit is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
