Browser extension for excluding selected brands from Vinted search results and recommended items. Enter the brands you don't want to see and they'll disappear :)



I often use Vinted to find second-hand clothes. I like that you can buy items from different European countries and that the shipping is cheap. I particularly treasure a hat with the Panasonic logo and the tagline “ideas for life”. I got it from some guy from Érd in Hungary.

But the glut of fast fashion brands makes it sort of annoying to search for this kind of stuff. You can filter by specific brands, but you can’t filter them out. I don’t think this is something that Vinted can ever add because of business concerns, but I can, because I don’t work there and I don’t have any business concerns.

I called the extension Fast Fashion Begone. It’s available in the Firefox Add-Ons store and can be loaded into Chrome manually according to the instructions on the GitHub page. It’s not in the Chrome Web Store because I refuse to pay Google the $5 fee.
