Contextia collects nothing and sends nothing. Everything runs locally on your device.
The extension makes zero network requests — no accounts, no servers, no analytics, no telemetry, no third parties. To do its job it reads the text you type into the chat composer on chatgpt.com and claude.ai and scans it locally, in memory. That text is never transmitted.
It stores a small amount of data locally (browser storage) only: your settings, an optional allow/redact list, a local detections log (timestamp, site, detector type, severity, action — never the secret value itself), and aggregate counters. You can clear all of it from the popup or options page. Nothing is ever synced or sent off-device.
