- Noté 5 sur 5par cavadao77, il y a 2 moisThis add-on fixed my problem with YouTube immediately, I have a high end PC and it was freezing itself at 2x 1080p60. Thank you guys!
- Noté 4 sur 5par SeriesE233, il y a 4 moisA must have for old laptops with no VP9 hardware decoding support. Just make sure that you can only watch videos up to 1080p.
- Noté 5 sur 5par Lord Fong, il y a 5 moisGreat improvement, in terms of keeping my laptop much cooler. Great extension. 👍
- Noté 5 sur 5par ozkan, il y a 5 moisInstalling this fixed hardware video decoding. Now Firefox uses much less CPU even when I watch 4K videos with VP9. Task manager shows HW video decoding works. It was zero before.
- Noté 5 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 5556503 de Firefox, il y a 5 moisStill seems to work, finally no more choppy and painfully slow and in low resulution loading YouTube videos in Firefox, and no need to use YouTube in Chrome as a "workaround".

- Noté 1 sur 5par Paul, il y a 7 moisCurrently seems to not be working as blocking VP8/VP9 means videos are played in AV1. Even when AV1 playback is technically disabled in Youtube settings.
For me this is overall worse as AV1 seems to use more resources than VP9. - Noté 3 sur 5par Travis Llado, il y a 7 moisI've used this add-on for years, but eventually I realized that as of 2024 this is what's blocking Youtube from playing any videos above 1080p. I don't know why, but no video on Youtube will show the option of playing above 1080p when this extension is enabled and plenty of videos allow up to 2160p when this extension is disabled.
