Wearton: Digital Wardrobe & Virtual Closet by wearton

Wearton is a digital wardrobe and virtual closet for the clothes you own, with a clothing wishlist for the pieces you want. Save clothes from any online shop in a few clicks and see them in the sidebar while you shop.

Stop photographing every piece. Import a cart or a whole order, and check a new piece before you buy it.

Key features

1. Import from any shop: open your cart, an order or a product page and click "Import this page". The clothing items on it are found for you.
2. A whole order in one step: add everything you bought at once, without taking a single photo. Each photo is put on a clean white background and saved with its category, colour and name.
3. Right-click to add: right-click a product photo and choose "Add this item to Wearton".
4. Check before you buy: every piece you save for later shows if it suits your colours, how many things you own it goes with, and whether you already have something very close.
5. Your clothes in the sidebar: the sidebar stays open while you browse. Filter by category and open any item to see its price and size.
6. Your colour profile: see your season, undertone and palette, found from one selfie.

How to use it

1. Click "Add to Firefox". The Wearton sidebar opens.
2. Sign in with your email or with Google.
3. Open your cart, an order or a product page in an online shop.
4. Click the Wearton toolbar button, then "Import this page".
5. Check the list, choose "My closet" or "Wishlist", and save.

Privacy and permissions

• A shop page is read only after you click the toolbar button or the right-click menu on it. The add-on cannot read any website at install, and nothing is read in the background.
• It never reads passwords, cookies or form fields. Checkout and payment pages are never sent.
• The text and product photos of that page go only to our server, to find the items.
• Your photos are kept in your private account. Only you can see them.
• Usage data is off unless you allow it (Firefox asks at install; change it in Account → Share usage data or in about:addons). When on, it sends which screens and buttons are used to PostHog, linked to your account id. Never your email, photos or page content.
