VTT-Chat Extension by Andy Prosser

VTT‑Chat Universal VTT Connector adds a “Launch VTT‑Chat” button directly inside supported Virtual Tabletops, starting with full D&D Beyond integration. The extension detects your characters, campaigns, and whether you’re a DM or player, then sends a clean onboarding payload to your VTT‑Chat server so you can jump straight into a session.
What it does
- Detects logged‑in users on supported VTTs
- Reads character and campaign data you already have access to
- Determines DM vs player from page context or platform APIs
- Supports multiple VTT‑Chat servers and invite codes
- Lets you reopen your last session from the extension popup

Privacy and data use
- Uses your existing VTT session; no credential bypassing
- Reads only the data visible to you on the page
- Contacts D&D Beyond’s API only when you are on your character sheet and have an active VTT‑Chat session
- Does not scrape, bulk‑collect, store, or republish platform content
- Does not modify any VTT data
