About this extension
Veriloot is a CS2 price checker that works on the listing itself. When you look at a CS2 skin on a marketplace, a Veriloot card shows up at the bottom of the page, in the left or right corner depending on the marketplace (across the full width in a narrow window). It tells you where the same skin sells for less, based on the prices Veriloot observes on the marketplaces it compares. No need to open a price comparison site in another tab.
What the card shows
- "Cheaper on CSFloat: €21.96", with how old that price is, then the price observed on the marketplace you're on and the gap, shown from 1%.
- "You're already at the lowest price we found", when that's the case.
- "Only price we have", when a single marketplace has a recent price: there's nothing to compare.
- For a Doppler, a Fade or a Case Hardened, no amount: the price depends on the phase or pattern, which the name doesn't tell.
- "No recent price for this item", when nothing is measured. Never €0.
- A button to the marketplace, and "Compare on Veriloot" for the marketplace-by-marketplace detail.
- After the card has shown you a cheaper price five times, a small "Rate the extension" link at its bottom. One click on it, or on "Don't ask again", removes it for good.
Where the prices come from
It's the lowest listing price observed on each marketplace that pays in cash, no Steam, no credit. A price is only used if it's recent: one to nine hours depending on the marketplace, and the card always shows its age. Prices quoted in dollars are converted to euros at the European Central Bank's reference rate; the marketplace applies its own rate when you buy. The extension doesn't read the price of the listing you're viewing: it compares observed prices.
Where it runs
On sixteen marketplaces, including CSFloat, Skinport, DMarket, Waxpeer and market.csgo. The full list is in the privacy policy.
Affiliate links
Some buttons are affiliate links: if you use one, the marketplace may pay Veriloot a commission. They carry no label in the card. The marketplace button always opens the offer directly. Only if you turn on Firefox's optional "technical and interaction data" for the extension is each click added to a daily total per marketplace on veriloot.gg, with nothing that identifies you. The ranking doesn't depend on affiliation: the lowest price stays on top, deal or no deal. The extension never changes a link on the page; it only adds its own, inside its card.
What it doesn't do
- It doesn't read your cookies, credentials, history or other tabs.
- It doesn't sign in to anything and never acts for you: no buying, no selling, no trading.
- The only things it sends to Veriloot are the item name on the page and which marketplace the page belongs to. Only if you turned on the optional usage data: that you did, with the price request, and, when you click a marketplace button, the code of that button's marketplace (the offer's, not the page's) along with your consent.
- It doesn't run in private browsing: nothing there is read, sent, counted or stored.
No account needed, and nothing is billed today.
Not affiliated with Valve or Steam. None of the marketplaces named sponsors or endorses Veriloot. Counter-Strike, CS2 and marketplace names belong to their owners.
