About this extension
SnapFold takes screenshots that don't stop at scrollbars.

Most capture tools miss anything hidden inside a scrollable panel; chat
histories, code boxes, embedded frames. Before a shot, SnapFold "unfolds"
the page: scrollable iframes and inner scroll panels are expanded to their
full content size, captured, then put back exactly as they were.

FOUR CAPTURE MODES
• Visible area — exactly what's on screen, instantly.
• Full page — the entire page top to bottom, inner panels unfolded so
nothing behind an inner scrollbar is lost.
• Pick element — hover to highlight, click to capture just that part
(a frame, a table, a chat pane), fully scrolled out.
• Select area — drag a rectangle and capture exactly that region.

AFTER THE SHOT
Open a preview tab with Download and Copy buttons, download right away,
or copy straight to the clipboard — your choice. Save as PNG or JPEG,
with an optional subfolder under Downloads. If the subfolder can't be
written, the shot still lands in Downloads and you get a warning instead
of a lost screenshot.

EASY TO REACH
Use the toolbar button, or right-click any page and choose "Capture this
page…" for a small draggable panel that stays open between shots.

MADE FOR THE HARD CASES
• Chat histories (ChatGPT, web chat apps) captured in full, not just the visible slice
• Scrollable side panels, feeds, and tables inside the page
• Embedded iframes, including cross-origin ones
• Lazy-loaded content is woken up before the shot

OUTPUT YOUR WAY
• PNG or JPEG with adjustable quality
• Copy to clipboard, download, or open in a preview tab
• Custom filename prefix, right-click menu entry

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
SnapFold runs entirely in your browser. No data collection, no accounts, no remote servers. Screenshots never leave your machine.

What changed in 1.5.0
Select area is now adjustable: after dragging a box it stays up with resize
handles, drag-to-move, a size badge, and Cancel/Capture buttons. Dragging a
handle against a screen edge auto-scrolls the page; on pages that only
scroll an inner pane (e.g. chat apps) the pane is temporarily unfolded and
restored after capture. Selections larger than the viewport are captured by
scroll-and-stitch.
