Seniority Recorder by seniority

Seniority Recorder is a companion tool for the Seniority testing platform (https://seniority.g-weil.com). It helps you test YOUR OWN websites, or sites you are explicitly authorized to test, by observing how a real person uses them.

HOW IT WORKS - STRICTLY ONE TAB:
- The extension does nothing until you explicitly consent and pick ONE target tab.
- It then runs ONLY in that single tab. It never runs in your other tabs and never in your general browsing.
- It stops when you pause it, stop it, or close that tab.

WHAT IT OBSERVES (only in the chosen tab): clicks, page navigation, scrolling, the fact that you typed and your typing rhythm, and visible page errors. These are sent to your own Seniority account so the platform can analyze usability and return each issue and its fix in plain language.

WHAT IT NEVER DOES: it never records the keys you press, your passwords, or the contents of password fields; it removes query strings from URLs; and it does not track you across sites. No advertising or third-party analytics.

WHY THE PERMISSIONS:
- Website access + scripting: the system under test can be any site you own or are authorized to test, but the extension only injects into the ONE tab you select, never automatically anywhere else.
- Tabs: to know which tab you chose as the target.
- Storage: to keep your device link and settings on your own device.
- Alarms: to periodically send the recorded actions and keep the session alive.

You are always in control: explicit consent, one tab only, pause or stop anytime.
