SecondMindOS is useful for research, planning, product work, client projects, writing, study, and any workflow that spans more than one AI conversation. It helps you resume work with the evidence, decisions, and open questions already connected instead of rebuilding context from memory.

Start without an account. Local workflows keep saved workspace data in your browser profile and can use Ollama or your own supported AI-provider key. Configured paid services can add authenticated cloud synchronization, passphrase-encrypted backups, managed AI, and automatic synthesis. Availability depends on account entitlement, provider setup, and service configuration. Hosted sync uses encrypted connections, provider encryption at rest, and account access controls; backup contents receive separate on-device encryption before upload.

SecondMindOS does not sell your data or use saved workspace content to train AI models. Data is sent only when you choose a hosted feature, cloud AI provider, or configured integration. Connections require explicit setup, and actions that send information elsewhere remain reviewable.
