About this extension
Raindrop Bookmark Sync keeps your Firefox bookmarks and your Raindrop.io collections in step — automatically, in both directions.
Map any bookmark folder to a Raindrop.io collection and the whole subtree stays mirrored: add, edit, move, rename or delete on either side and the change flows to the other.
Features:
• Two-way sync — changes in Firefox are pushed to Raindrop.io, and changes in Raindrop.io are pulled back into Firefox.
• Folder mapping — choose exactly which bookmark folders sync with which collections.
• Nested folders — full support for folder hierarchies; new subfolders become collections and new child collections become subfolders automatically.
• Two-way rename & delete — renaming or deleting a folder or collection on one side updates the other. Deletions cascade, and deleted bookmarks go to Raindrop's Trash where they can be restored.
• Real-time — bookmark changes sync within about a second.
• Periodic sync — a configurable interval (1–60 min) also pulls in anything changed on Raindrop.io.
• Conflict resolution — Raindrop.io is the source of truth. If the same item changed on both sides, the Raindrop version wins.
• Sync errors — the options page shows any problems from the last sync at a glance.
Privacy: everything is stored locally on your device and the extension talks only to the Raindrop.io API. It does not collect any personal data.
Setup: paste your Raindrop.io Test Token (Settings → Integrations), map a bookmark folder to a collection, and you're syncing.
