About this extension
Point at your running app, say what should change, and your coding agent gets it.
Press Alt+Shift+A on any localhost page, click an element (or drag a box around a group), type what should change, and press Ctrl+Enter. Your agent (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or any MCP client) receives the note with everything it needs to find the code: the CSS selector, DOM path, computed styles, the React/Vue component chain, a source-file hint and a cropped screenshot.
What you get
- Numbered pins that stay on the element across reloads and disappear when the agent finishes
- The agent's reply in your browser, with Accept or Not quite to reopen it
- The agent can ask you a question instead of guessing
- Recent page errors and failed requests attached to the note, with secrets and query strings removed
- Record steps to describe a bug that takes several clicks
- Before/after crops when a note is resolved
- Drafts, and notes about the whole page
How it works
The add-on talks only to a small bridge you run on your own machine (

How it works
The add-on talks only to a small bridge you run on your own machine (
npx -y pinpoint-bridge, Node 18+), at 127.0.0.1. Nothing is sent to us or any third party. It runs only on local development pages (localhost, 127.0.0.1, .local, .test) unless you turn it on for a tab.Free and open source (MIT): https://github.com/gowtham012/PinPoint
