About this extension
Onplana Tasks is a free task manager for your browser, Windows, Mac, iPhone and Android that puts your work and your AI agents' work in one list. You can start without an account, and sign in to Onplana to share tasks with your team.
This is the browser extension. It is a companion to Onplana, the AI-native project management platform, and it puts your work in your toolbar.
How do I save a web page as a task?
Right-click a page, a link or selected text and choose Add to Onplana, or open the popup and choose This page. The task keeps a link back to where it came from. Signed in, you can file the page as an issue instead (Log an issue about this page, with a screenshot of the page attached), or capture it as an idea.
Can I use it without an account?
Yes. Signed out, the popup opens on a task list kept in this browser. Add tasks in plain language, save pages as tasks, complete and snooze them, change their priority and due date, and pin them to My Day. Until you sign in, the extension makes no network requests at all. The tasks live only in this browser, so removing the extension deletes them; Copy all puts every task on the clipboard. When you sign in, the extension offers to move your tasks into an Onplana project.
Where can I find AI-powered task management?
Signed in, quick add picks up a due date and a priority as you type, and its AI button also fills in the project. "What should I focus on?" writes a short brief from your overdue work and anything an agent is waiting on, and Report under an answer flags a wrong one. AI draws on your workspace's AI allowance, which every plan has.
How do I hand a task to an AI agent or a teammate?
Open the task and choose who it goes to. Your AI agents are members of your Onplana projects, so you give a task to an agent the same way you give one to a teammate, and the agent starts working on it. Agents are connected in the Onplana web app.
Keep an eye on your agents
See what your agents finished while you were away, what is still running, and which one is blocked and needs you. Blocked work sorts to the top, and the count sits on the toolbar button.
What else you can do, signed in
- See your assigned tasks grouped Overdue, Today, This week and Later.
- Complete, reopen, snooze or reprioritize without opening Onplana.
- Open a task for its subtasks, comments, attachments and collaborators, the people working on it with you.
- Log time against a task. Logging time needs the Professional plan or above.
- Work with Issues and Ideas, and see mentions and comments in your Inbox.
- If you own or manage a project, invite people to it and give them a task. People you invite join the project as guests.
- Turn on a due-today reminder that arrives while your browser is open.
On a bad connection, your last synced list stays in the popup, and completing, reopening, snoozing and changing priority sync when you are back. Adding a task while signed in needs a connection.
Languages: English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Simplified Chinese and Arabic. Translations are new.
Privacy: before you sign in there is no account, no network and no tracking. Signed in, your tasks sync to your own Onplana workspace over HTTPS, and the extension sends anonymous usage counts and error reports, which you can turn off in Settings under Share usage and error data. We never sell data.
Sync, projects and team features need a free Onplana account.
