About this extension
MxInspector drops a dockable panel onto any running Mendix app and surfaces what the framework hides.
Browse every entity, object, attribute and association on the page with search, drill and hover-highlight. Watch a live-updating list of the microflows and runtime operations the page fires. Profile page load and Core Web Vitals per view, including SPA navigations. Audit accessibility against WCAG, with contrast checking that understands modern CSS colour notation and gradient backgrounds. Run a client-side security scan for exposed secrets, known CVEs and risky endpoints. Inspect typography and the box model by hovering any element. Export the whole report to PDF.
It can also answer styling questions for an AI coding assistant. Ask yours why an element looks the way it does and it can read the answer from the running page: which rule wins for each property, from which file, at what specificity, and through which design token. It is off until you switch it on from a badge in the panel header, which also lists what was read and turns it off again.
Works with Mendix 10 and Mendix 11, and detects older versions too. Everything it shows is read from what the app has already loaded in your browser, so it adds no load to your environment and works with Mendix Strict Mode enabled. The one exception is an optional security check that only runs when you press its button.

MxInspector only works on Mendix web applications. On other sites it shows a "Not a Mendix app" notice. Documentation: https://mxinspector.com/docs.html
