Open any finished game for a full Debrief. Every move is rated, from brilliant to blunder. A graph shows where the game turned, and you see each player's accuracy. Your coach explains it all in plain words, shows you the better move and lets you play it yourself.

Choose a 3D character, from a fennec to a dragon. It reviews your games, cheers you on in puzzles and guides you through lessons.

A Lichess that feels brand new
Every page feels like a modern app, from the home page to puzzles, profiles and tournaments, on your computer, tablet or phone. And you set it up your way: where the menu sits, how round the corners are, your quick-play buttons, your avatar, the intro before each game.

Make it yours
Pick a color theme for light mode and one for dark mode, or make your own. Choose your board, including wooden boards photographed from real ones, your pieces and your sounds. You can also import a pack of your own.
