About this extension
Fox Hop lets you jump straight to a specific Firefox tab — your ChatGPT, Todoist, email, a dashboard — from anywhere on macOS, with a global hotkey or the command line.
Firefox can't be driven by AppleScript, so Fox Hop pairs with a small companion command-line tool, foxhop-cli, which talks to this extension over native messaging. You list the tabs you care about in a simple config file; a
hotkey then activates the matching tab (and opens it if it isn't already open).
This extension does nothing on its own — it needs the free, open-source foxhop CLI:
• npm:
• Source & setup: https://github.com/kud/foxhop
Fox Hop collects no data: it reads tab URLs/titles only locally to find the one you asked for, and communicates solely with the local companion app.
