Ekşi Engel Plus is a powerful Chrome extension that allows you to completely customize your Ekşi Sözlük experience. This plugin is developed as a fork from the original Ekşi Engel and includes many additional features and improvements.
Core Features (from Original Ekşi Engel):
- Block all authors who favorited an entry
- Block all followers of an author
- Block everyone who wrote in a topic

New Features Exclusive to Ekşi Engel Plus:
Date-Based User Filtering:
Filter users by account registration date. This feature allows you to block newly created accounts or preserve older ones. By default, the rule to block accounts 3650 days (10 years) or newer is active. Filter criteria: NEWER_THAN, OLDER_THAN, BEFORE_DATE, AFTER_DATE. Registration dates are cached with a 30-day TTL for optimized performance.
Date-Based Bulk Operations:
Manage your blocked or muted users in bulk by account age. You can select the blocked users list, muted users list, or a custom author list as the source. Operations: Block, Mute, Unblock, Unmute, Follow, Unblock and Follow, Unmute and Follow.
Advanced Switching System:
Switch between blocked and muted users in bulk. Convert blocked to muted or vice versa. Block all muted users. Block topics of blocked/muted users. Remove all blocks and mutes.
Pause/Resume System:
Pause long-running operations at safe checkpoints and resume later from where you left off. You can resume interrupted operations after browser or extension restarts.
Queue System:
Add multiple operations to the queue and have them run automatically in sequence. New operations are queued while current ones are in progress and executed in order.
Real-Time Progress Tracking:
Track percentage, success/failure counts in real-time with a live progress bar. Operation status (active/idle/cool-down), cool-down timer, and operation type are displayed.
CSV Import/Export:
Export your blocked, muted, or followed user lists to CSV files. Registration dates are included for date-based filtering. CSV format: Username,RegistrationDate (YYYY-MM-DD). Bulk import feature allows adding hundreds of users at once.
Dynamic UI Labels:
The plugin dynamically changes menu labels based on your settings. When mute is enabled, it shows "mute"/"unmute"; when disabled, it shows "block"/"unblock".
Light/Dark Theme:
Offers light or dark theme options based on user preference.

Automatic Rate Limiting:
Automatically manages Ekşi Sözlük's 6 operations per minute limit. Waits during cool-down periods and completes operations with retry mechanism.
Backend Analytics:
Anonymized blocked user data is sent to Ekşi Engel Plus servers. This data is used to create statistics on most-blocked authors.
Automatic URL Change Detection:
When Ekşi Sözlük's URL changes (for example, transitioning from eksisozluk.com to eksisozluk2023.com), the plugin automatically fetches the latest URL from servers and continues working.
