About this extension
deffector adds a "deffector" tab to Firefox DevTools for apps built with the effector state manager.
The app imports the @deffector/agent package from npm in development; in production builds it does nothing. The extension talks only to that agent, on localhost and on sites you allow. It collects no data and makes no network requests of its own.
Works with React, Vue, Solid, Next.js, SSR and global mode. Documentation: https://mxmvshnvsk.github.io/deffector/
- Log: every user action as one transaction, the event and everything it caused, step by step, with a "why" view for stores that changed or did not.
- Time travel: jump to any transaction. With fork() the app shows a copy of that moment and the present stays untouched.
- Stores: values per scope, change history, and setting your own value live or in a separate scope.
- Effects: a waterfall of calls. Hold an effect in pending, return a value or an error, add a delay.
- Traces: export the initial state, external calls and effect results as JSON (secrets masked), replay them in a fresh scope or copy them as a test.
- Health: missing or duplicate sids, unit leaks, cycles, stale reads, each with a fix.
- Graph: how units are connected and the path a transaction took.
